Slow moving this morning.  Still have to make coffee and get busy.  Here are a few more pix of the linens.

Hi guys. Fri. I went to lunch with my quilty friend and shopping but only picked up a 42 cent tassel.  Saturday was quilt guild and there were tons of people who had finished items.  Have been crocheting for a prayer shawl group while I watch the Olympics and today or tomorrow I finish the bowls.

Here are a few more details from the vintage linens box.  The bottom of this petticoat has some beautiful cutwork and eyelet.

This is actually a whole dress, handmade, with a matching jacket.

This one is hand embroidery to be salvaged.

So, Thursday...

I haven't moved quite as fast as I should.  But here I am.

Had a wonderful lunch and shop with friend, Jill.  We had gyros and went to Hobby Lobby.  She was looking for cotton yarn to match a project but found much more as we all do.

I almost bought some yarn but remembered how much is still stashed and only bought a tassel.  I hope to try an ornament idea with it.  If it works I'll show you.

Here are some of the things from the vintage box. I tried to get the most detail since you know what a hankie looks like.  They are stained and need attention but still beautiful.  The first is monogrammed and the second has newer looking leaves and embroidery.

This is blackwork of daisies and poppies that I can guess were to be pillows.  Really beautiful handwork here.

Well, look at this...

Hi all.  I am so excited to tell about two things.  First, I got a freecycled box of vintage lace and linens so I will be showing you fotos a little at a time of that and can't wait to experiment with different sewing and dying ideas.  Second, the Bowls with Borders Blog Hop is coming and my bowls are almost done.  I hope to get it quilted this weekend .  Here's a hint on mine.  You will be seeing spots.  See you soon.

Forgot One

LOL.  Forgot this cute baby hat and loafers.  The loafer pattern I bought on Ravelry.  The hat I worked out myself.  Was supposed to be for a baby that got too big before I gave it.  Now I will make new present.

Ball Park(R) Flame Grilled Patties « Campaign

My family and I recently tried Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties that are ready to heat and eat.  We liked the grilled flavor and the varieties.  They have plain, onion and cheese.  We got a free sample from BzzAgent.  We would recommend them as an 8 out of 10.  The flavor and convenience were great.  The texture was a little too soft.
